Residential Construction in South Florida.
Custom homes, home additions, and remodels, built by a general contractor who stays hands-on from the first walkthrough to the final punch list.
Residential work is personal. You are living in or near the project, the budget is your own, and the difference between a good experience and a bad one is communication. We keep the plan clear, the site clean, and the schedule honest.
We are a family-owned company, and we build for homeowners the way we would build for our own family: with personal ownership of the work and open communication from the first walkthrough to the final punch list.
Custom homes
New home construction from the ground up, managed through design coordination, permitting, construction, and final inspections.
We build to South Florida conditions, including current Florida Building Code wind and moisture requirements, and we keep you informed at every stage.
Home additions
Room additions, extensions, and second-story additions that expand your home without moving. We handle structural work, tie-ins to the existing house, and the permitting that additions require.
The goal is an addition that reads as original construction, inside and out.
Kitchen and bath remodeling
Kitchen remodeling and bathroom renovations, from single rooms to whole-home interior remodels. We coordinate demolition, trades, fixtures, and finishes under one contract.
You get one point of responsibility for schedule, budget, and quality rather than juggling separate trades yourself.
Common questions
What residential projects does Rockwell Construction take on?
Custom home construction, home additions and extensions, kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovations, and whole-home remodels across South Florida. If you are unsure whether your project fits, describe it through the contact page and we will give you a straight answer.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. As the general contractor we prepare and submit permit applications, coordinate with the building department, and schedule required inspections through final approval. Permitting timelines vary by municipality, and we account for them in the project schedule from the start.
How do I get a price for my project?
Start with the contact form or a phone call. We will discuss scope, walk the site, and prepare a written proposal. Pricing depends on scope, finishes, and site conditions, so we do not quote numbers before seeing the project.
